Proposed Commercial, Neighborhood Zoning District
As part of the 2020-2025 City Strategic Plan, a strategic result recommended the adoption of a land use option to the LDC that allows for Pocket Neighborhoods, which are defined as small-scale commercial developments that could be located within or on the edges of existing residential neighborhoods throughout the City. The Commercial, Neighborhood (CN) zoning district was proposed by the City of Arvada planning team to achieve this goal.
Following workshops and public hearings to discuss the proposed CN zoning district with the Planning Commission and City Council, the CN zoning district was adopted by City Council in July 2023. For additional information, email Arvada's Planning Division or call 720-898-7435.
