Program Overview

Arvada Reservoir Rangers are a dedicated group of volunteers who assist with the daily operations of the Arvada-Blunn Reservoir. Reservoir Rangers provide guest assistance, first aid, emergency response and resource protection to enhance the experience of all reservoir visitors.

The City is looking for new volunteers to join the Arvada Reservoir Ranger program! The seasonal position runs from April through October. Apply now to become a Reservoir Ranger



  • 18 years of age or older
  • Clean background check
  • Strong people skills and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to educate the public about park rules in a non-confrontational manner
