The Parks Department for the City of Arvada is responsible for clearing nearly 150 miles of trails, sidewalks, and parking lots across the city during a snowstorm. The map below highlights the different areas of the city the parks crews are responsible for, as well the priority level for each route.
Plow routes are prioritized by safety, with trails linking to schools and recreation centers first.
- Priority 1 - Red: Recreation Centers and School Routes
- Priority 2 - Blue: Primary Use Parks and System Trails
- Priority 3 - Purple: Secondary Use Parks, Internal and Secondary Trails
