Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in making a positive difference in your community? Consider volunteering with the City of Arvada! We utilize volunteers in several areas of the organization, but we do not coordinate volunteers through a single application process. Please contact individual departments for more information.
Adopt-a-Street
This program gives Arvada residents an opportunity to help keep roadways in their neighborhoods clean.

Adopt-a-Trail
This program focuses on keeping trails clean and maintained throughout Arvada.

Arvada Police Department
Periodically, the Arvada Police Department (APD) requires assistance from Arvada residents to help with administrative functions and other day-to-day operations to better utilize police personnel. Please be aware that APD volunteers are subject to a background check.

Festivals
The Arvada Festivals Commission needs volunteers for various roles at City-sponsored festivals. Events include the Kite Festival, Arvada on Tap, Movies Around Town, Arvada Days and Winter Fest.

Majestic View Nature Center
We need volunteers to help with teaching science-based school programs, hosting public hours and events, maintaining the demonstration garden, monitoring wildlife, and special projects at the Nature Center.

Reservoir Rangers
Looking to enjoy the outdoors safely while also contributing to your community? Come spend a few hours a day, a few days a week, or whatever suits your schedule at the Arvada Reservoir assisting anglers also looking to enjoy the tranquility of the lake!
