City Council Meetings

City Council business meetings are generally held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6 p.m. Workshops are generally held on the second and fourth Mondays at 6 p.m.

Public Improvement Projects

In 2018, Arvada residents approved funds to improve Ralston Road and W 72nd Avenue. The improvements are: 

  • An 8-foot-wide pedestrian path 
  • Wider travel lanes
  • Extra space for the accumulation of rain, snow, and debris outside of the travel lanes 
  • Wider center left-turn lanes
  • Reconstruction of aging traffic signals
