Check the Status of a Permit / Schedule a Building Inspection

eTRAKiT Help

Resetting Your Password

Log on to eTRAKiT and in the top toolbar on the very right you will see "Forgot Password." After clicking on this, you will be prompted to enter your account's email address. Please note: This must be the email address that is associated with your contractor's license. You will receive an email with your password information.

Trouble Signing In

If you are having trouble signing in, first verify that you are using the correct password. If you are getting a warning about your license expiration, you will need to renew your contractor's license before you can access your information. A Contractor's License application can be obtained in the contractor licenses section of this site. If you are applying for a municipal license, please call the Engineering Division at 720-898-7640.

All applications can be mailed to the City of Arvada Building Inspection Division at 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002, or can be dropped off at City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.

Open Permits Report

Many contractors request a report of their open permits. If you are logged into arvadapermits.org you will only see the active permits for that license. When they are closed out with a final inspection, the permit will no longer appear on your dashboard. If you are looking for a permit that was issued and is now closed you can search for that permit using the permit number or the address where it was issued.

Not Finding a Permit

The only permits that are visible are issued permits. If a permit is past its expiration date, it will not show up on the list and you will need to re-initiate the permit by calling the Permitting office at 720-898-7620 prior to scheduling any inspections. If you are not listed as a contractor on a permit, you will need to submit a Sub Contractor form to have your company added to the permit. If you have already completed this form, please call the office to have someone verify the permit.

Apply for a Permit Online

In the future, contractors and homeowners will be able to apply for permits online, but that feature is currently not available.
