National Night Out
National Night Out (NNO) is a community effort to reduce crime and the fear of crime in our neighborhoods through relationship-building. This annual national celebration is held the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out is an opportunity for our officers to meet and interact with residents in a relaxed, informal way while discussing citizen concerns and ways to prevent crime as a community.

School Resource Officers
School Resource Officers (SROs) act as a liaison between the police department, school, and community. It is their mission to provide a safe and secure environment where students can thrive. SROs mentor students and present information in the classroom. They also meet with parents and teachers. SROs are often role models for students, giving them sound advice and encouraging feelings of self-worth.
