Creekside Park Playground Renovation

a new wildlife-themed park playground featuring slides, a teeter totter, and climbing net

As part of the City of Arvada's 'Taking Lasting Care' program, the Parks and Urban Design team renovated the playground at Creekside Park, located at 5897 Pierce St. in Arvada along the Ralston Creek Trail.

The new playground at Creekside Park opened to the public in August of 2023. The playground's wildlife theme and equipment were chosen with input received from the community through a Speak Up Arvada project.

The wildlife-themed playground features include:

  • Custom play structure featuring five slides, climbing walls, play panels, and shade canopy
  • Curved balance beam, turtle spinner, clown fish climber, dragonfly teeter totter, and net climber
  • Swing set suitable for multiple age groups and abilities, including an expression swing that allows adults and children to swing together
