Project Based Voucher Program
The Arvada Housing Authority (AHA) will accept online applications for its Project Based Voucher Program waiting list beginning at 12 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, and will continue to accept applications until further notice. The Project Based Voucher Program ties a rental subsidy to a specified unit and bedroom size at participating partner communities. Applicants must be 18 years of age and older and currently experiencing homelessness in order to be eligible.
The wait list is not first-come, first-served as certain preferences will apply and applications will be ranked for placement as such. Please contact the Arvada Housing Authority at 720-898-7476 with questions about the selection process.
Applications must be submitted online at arvada.myhousing.com. You may use any electronic device to complete the application including a laptop, desktop computer, iPad/tablet, iPhone, or Android. Paper applications WILL NOT be available at the AHA office.
If you do not have access to an electronic device, you may visit your local library for computer access. Please visit jeffcolibrary.org for locations and hours.
Persons with disabilities who need a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in the application process should contact the Arvada Housing Authority via phone at 720-898-7494, fax at 720-898-7490 or email [email protected]. If you require assistance with completing the online application, please contact the Arvada Housing Authority at 720-898-7494.
ONLY ONE online application may be submitted per household. Print or write down your confirmation number once your entry is complete. If, after submitting an application, you have any changes to your legal name, mailing address, income, or household composition, you must call the AHA office at 720-898-7494 to request a Change Form.
Applicants to the Project Based Voucher Program will be pulled from the top of the wait list as vouchers become available. Eligibility for the program must be verified at this time before receiving assistance.
